Shermin Shalbaftabar is a Tehran-based multidisciplinary artist working primarily in sculpture and installation. Her practice blends recycled plastics and traditional materials into immersive, interactive works that explore environmental sustainability, social conformity, and the future of living systems. Through tactile craftsmanship and conceptual inquiry, she invites audiences to reflect on collective responsibility and the human impact on nature.

Her work has been exhibited in Iran and internationally, including solo shows at Shirin Art Gallery and Karman house, and group exhibitions in South Korea.
